What is HDR10+?
HDR10+ is the latest and most advanced technology discovered by Samsung; this HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. HDR10+ is the advanced version of HDR10. The main purpose of HDR10+ is to get your TV to optimally display UHD content the way to seen true-to-life highlight and shadow details. Chromecast Google TV got HDR10+ Certification
HDR10+ now expands to Chromecast, Roku, and Paramount+. The dynamic HDR video format developed by Samsung, now Google, Roku, and Paramount+ have announced that these three significant partners sign on to HDR10+ format.
Google looks for HDR10+ to use its Chromecast devices. HDR10+ has already been enabled on its new Roku Express 4K+, Express 4K, and Roku Ultra products. Paramount+ is nothing but a new US video streaming service; it says streaming original shows such as The Stand to the certified devices in HDR10+.
HDR10+ supports more than 100 companies by this new singing, including Amazon, Youtube, 20th century Fox, Panasonic, Vizio, Hisense, Xiaomi, and Phillips. In addition, Netflix stated that in the future, it might be we support HDR10+, but it is not confirmed officially.
Google’s Director of Product Management, Mr.Matt Frost, said that “ We envision HDR10+ being a key enabler for Chromecast Google TV plus other platforms going forth and we look forward to helping various partners to achieve a great HDR experience. Dolby Vision format is already using in Google, Roku, and Paramount+.
