Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also brighter at up 1750 nits brightness. Exynos 2200 4nm/5G SoCs power it, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 for US regions, depending on where it is sold.

It features an in-display Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and runs Android 12 with OneUI 4. The phone features the iconic Galaxy Note angles. It has a primary 108-megapixel sensor with OIS, 12-megapixel Ultra Wide lens with the 120-degree field, a 10-megapixel Telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and support for 100x digital zoom. A 40-megapixel front-facing cam is included on the phone. The phone supports an 8K video recording.

The S22 Ultra features Ultra-wideband capabilities (UWB), a glass back protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, and has IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance. The 5000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, 15W wireless, and reverse wireless charging.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra is also the first Galaxy S Series phone to include a built-in S Pen Stylus and Wacom tech. This is in contrast to the S21 Ultra, which only had this support but was sold separately. Samsung claims the S Pen has a 70% lower latency than the S21 Ultra.
