Other companies, including Xiaomi and Oppo ready, released those design-based mobiles. We heard rumors about Google working on a foldable mobile that can replace a tablet. But Google inspired a few good touches from it.
Google Pixel Fold Leaked Renders
Steve Hemmerstoffer Steve Hemmerstoffer OnLeaks, the way the name is used more often, has posted precise 5K renderings of the Pixel Fold, which has been published on the less well-known website The Howtosolve. The device seems to confirm the latest leaks. As we have seen in our previous stories, this is probably the third time that Google has released the Pixel foldable since Google launched and ended production on the Passport along with Pipit.
Design and Specifications
Measurements accompany pixel Fold renders. The style is not new, but Pixel Fold renders are not. Hemmerstoffer claims it’s 158.7 by 139.7 in size and 5.7mm (8.3mm, including the rear camera bump) when folded. Based on these measurements, the device could be 14mm thick when folded.
Its Pixel Fold design is more like the Oppo Find N. These images suggest that Google’s foldable prototype is on the line between Find N and the Z Fold 4 when folded fully. Its 5.9-inch external OLED display and the larger 7.69-inch inner screen are slightly larger and taller.
In terms of the camera, the Google foldable camera is likely to continue the recent trend of massive Pixel camera bumps. The renders show an enormous area on the back of the phone packed with three cameras and illumination from an LED. The renders show a selfie camera on the front screen as well. Under the hood, the phone is believed to run on Google’s Tensor G2 processor.
Google Pixel Fold Pricing and Availability
The phone is expected to come in black and silver colors. (Sadly, it could mean that we won’t see any exciting Google-inspired colors, although they might come with Google-like names.)
We may not have to wait too long to test the phone since OnLeaks and HowToiSolve declare they believe the Pixel foldable is expected to be available in May 2023. The report also states that it will cost $1799, making it within the range of its Z Fold 4’s beginning price.
If the phone does come out and this is a possible possibility, given that a variant of Google foldable phone has been mentioned within the Android 13 code- it will be a significant growth in Google’s Pixel devices, including the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, Pixel 7 as well as 7 Pro, Pixel Watch as well as Pixel Buds Pro and next year’s Pixel Tablet.
