When you join, you’ll need to undergo an informal credit screening. If you choose to do so, Dish is promising you’ll remain on the $25 per month plan for the duration of your line in good standing.

Suppose you own an iPhone that isn’t compatible with Dish’s network (which employs a frequency known in the industry as “Band 70,” which is not available in older devices, excluding the iPhone 14 line). In that case, Stokols states that the service will be able to switch between AT&T and T-Mobile’s services.

The Dish plans to provide 70 percent of the US using its service by the 14th of June 2023, or else it will have to pay billions of dollars in fines and the loss of spectrum.
