How to use Google Search 3D AR Animals/Birds?
Unlike the already available AR packs implementation, you don’t need to download the AR packs manually. The available animals 3D render already implemented in the Google search. The process is simple. You have to search one of the AR support Animal or Bird name in the Google search bar. Scroll down the results page, and you can find the option as “View in 3D”.
- Open Google Search in your Chrome Browser.
- Type one of the supporting animal’s name. Example- lion.
- Select Search. You will get a lot of information regarding the particular animal.
- Scroll down, and you can find the column with the animal icon and option as “View in 3D”.
- Select the option and choose “View in your space.” Allow Camera permission.
- Face the camera into the flat surface so that the AR can detect the correct space for the 3D animals.
- When it can’t detect the surface, try with different areas. Sometimes it can’t put the 3D figures in a table like that.
- After AR out the 3D object, you can minimize and maximize the figure. You can also capture the image with your favorite animal or bird.
What are the requirements to use Google Search 3D AR Animals in Search?
When Google announced this idea, During Google i/o event 2019 to implement in Search, We know the setup will be not complicated. Because when you roll out AR in search results, the requirements and implementation should be minimal. Yes, The requirements are simple. You don’t need any third-party apps to install on your mobile.
- It works only on mobiles.
- Android Mobile with Nougat 7.0 version and above with Google Play Store.
- iPhone or iPad with iOS 11.0 and above.
- The browser should be Google Chrome or Chromium project-based like Opera. We tested with some of the Chromium-based browsers, and the AR works fine.

I Have Samsung a7(2018), but this feature is not working. I get an error as ” Couldn’t load the object,” Can you please let me know if there any patch to get this updated.
Update to the latest Google Chrome version. Did you try other objects? What object did you face the issue?
View in your space option did not come, even after allowing all permission.

I have Samsung Galaxy A10. I have all the access in my mobile up to date chrome but can’t find the option view in my space? Why?
Now it is working with Samsung Browser. Update and Try in your Pre-Installed Samsung Browser.
I have a mi 5 pro mobile. But there is no option “view in my place” Option.
It will work only with Chrome or Chromium-based browsers. Try with the latest Google Chrome mobile browser.
I’m unable to view the animal in the open space. I use one plus 6 mobile.
We also check with the OnePlus 6. After open the view space give some time or go to the home and open the Chrome browser again. It will work.
I get the “Couldn’t load object” box for every animal. I click the view in 3d button, and then it eventually gives me that error. I have a Samsung Galaxy s10 with Verizon and opening Google through Chrome, and I have the Google Play store. I’ve been trying for two days with no luck on any animal.
Big sized animals like Lion only can load and view in the big surface. Afterload, you can adjust the size. When you can’t get any animals, try with the Chrome beta version. Sometimes the Ar will work after two or three attempts.

Try couple of times. Some of the mobiles don’t work in the first try. Also, check with other words.
I try a lot of time. I have a realme 5 pro mobile. I give all permission to access and also update the new version of the browser, but that option is not showing to me.

Clear Cache in Chrome and Try a couple of times or try with Chrome beta version.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note10+, and I don’t see the “View in my space” either. I can only view the AR objects/animals when I open an incognito page in Chrome – otherwise, I get an error saying, “Couldn’t load object.” In incognito, the object/animal begins on a white background with no sound. I have the latest version of both Chrome and AR for Google Play Services + allowed all permissions incl. Camera.
Chrome versions may vary depending on the devices. So, Try with Chrome beta. The AR works fone on most of the Stock Android mobiles. But, In custom skin OS mobiles like Samsung and other devices, some issues happen.

Some Samsung devices have problem with default browser. Try with Chrome beta or Chromium-based browsers like Opera.

Chrome is different for every device. Try two or three times, because of the review space load lately in some devices.

Sometimes some objects may not load in all mobiles. It is a temporary error. Try with different objects.
How do you turn the sound on while using the 3D animals?
