  1. Hello, I tried to follow the instructions, and it worked for me so far. However, when I checked with the magisk manager, it said that my magisk is not yet installed? Please help I tried to reinstall the magisk using twerp and still nothing…

  2. Hi, yours is the most concise explanation I have read yet of how to root an sm-t380 tablet. I have spent many hours reading and trying to understand many other posts and forums.
    My tablet has Oreo 8.1.0 on it, oem unlock is enabled. I have tried several versions of Odin; however, I have the same problem with everyone I have tried; when I use Odin and try to install twrp as shown in your posts, I get this;
    ” Added!!
    Odin engine v(ID:3.1301).
    RQT_CLOSE !!
    Complete(Write) operation failed.
    All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)”

    My tablet has a red message “only official released binaries are allowed to be flashed,” so I suppose that is why Odin failed. Without TWRP installed, no progress is possible. Can you suggest any solution?

    • Can you mention your current firmware version? Probably the recovery triggered your firmware. Flash the stock firmware using ODIN.
