Verizon Wireless Just Kids Plan Features and How to Get the Plan

Updated On: November 20, 2024 by Selva Ganesh Leave a Comment

We can’t Avoid kids using our mobile, or their mobile in Today Tech world. It is not apparent that kids are getting addicted to smartphones, as well as try to access the internet through various means. When driving with a kid on a long journey, the one best way to keep him/her calm inside the car so that you can concentrate and drive is to hand over a smartphone, tablet, or a kid iPad to him/her. Well, many parents have resorted to setting up restrictions on their kid’s smartphone, but this didn’t seem to be the best solution to keep kids out of the various possible dangers they can face on the internet.

However, Verizon wireless is here with a somewhat solution for parents to get their kid a mobile device. Now, with the new Just Kids plan offered by Verizon, parents can now control what their kids can view or access on a smartphone. This is a ā€œone of a kindā€ parental control plan packed with enticing features every parent would love. The plan varies, anyway; there is a standard plan, premium plan, and others. Parents are expected to choose a suitable plan and subscribe to their kids.

What Verizon told about this Plan

Angie Klein, the v. president of the marketing department, Verizon, said, ā€œAt Verizon, we take pride in being a true partner to parents by providing them with products and services designed to meet their needs in an ever-evolving and often confusing technology landscape. With Just Kids, we’re leading the way on growing up with tech, providing parents with plan options and features that give them the peace of mind they need for safe and responsible phone usage.ā€

Features

The following features are what you’ll get from the Verizon kids plan package.

  • 5GB 4G LTE Data

  • Unlimited talk and text to 20 contacts

  • Smart family premium with parental controls

  • DVD-quality streaming (480p)

  • Verizon up rewards

  • Safety Mode

From the features above, you can see that there’s a limit to the number of persons a kid can call or text on this plan daily. Also, the plan includes the Verizon Smart Family Premium service which allows for robust parental control settings. A 5GB data allowance is included in this plan, and that’s the limit for a whole month; so, the kids using this plan have a limited 5GB data cap to enjoy each month. The other features of the app (smart mode and DVD streaming) are also handy. There is no age limit for this plan; it is just meant for all kids.
