If you know the price of electrical products, You may already know that those products are always high in UK regions. Due to this, Google can’t give better outcomes, and people always compare it with the US price range. Google can’t reduce the price due to Tax add-ons. So, Google is planning to release Google TV Chromecast Lite Low-End version for EUR 40. Since most people use up to the FHD version, Google TV Chromecast Lite will be helpful per the price range.

Google TV Chromecast Lite

Windows Future announced that the new, lower-cost Chromecast with Google TV has an “imminent” launch. According to the report, this device has “now appearing at the first dealers,” suggesting that stock for retail is already available. There’s no specific date to this report; however, it could mean that it will be earlier than the recently announced event on October 6, where Google will unveil the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel Watch.

Specifications

Since the streaming stick will only be available in 1080p resolution, it might be offered with the “Chromecast HD with Google TV” name. A previously published report suggested the possibility of the device being equipped with the AMlogic S805X2 chip that can support AV1 decoding and have 2GB of RAM. To connect, it can connect to Wi-Fi using 2.4GHz as well as 5GHz, which would suffice for streaming 1080p videos. The addition of AV1 decoding is an important feature, considering that it’s a rare feature on streaming sticks with a budget.

Price and Availability

At the very least, the device costs approximately 40 euros in Europe, which is likely to be EUR 39.99 according to Google’s standard style. It’s a significant discount of 40% from the price of Google’s 4K streaming device that retails at EUR69.99 across Europe. The EUR39.99 cost is the same price as Google is asking for within Europe in the case of its Chromecast, which is the Chromecast device with no Google TV that first came out in the year of the year 2018. If that’s the case, it’s plausible to expect the device to cost $29.99 in the US; that’s the price of the 2018 version of Chromecast in the region.

Wrap Up

Only Google understands the hardware market and realizes why Xiaomi sells mobiles at low margins. Even a $5-10 change can drastically affect the product sale. Google plans to launch many products, including the Pixel 7 series, Pixel Watch, and now the Google TV Chromecast Lite version. When you are in the US, You can use the regular version for a low price. The Lite version is only helpful for Countries where the standard version cost is higher than the US region cost.
