New Google TV Chromecast with AV1 hardware playback is coming in May 2022

Since most Android TVs come with built-in Chromecast, Google has begun to provide Android TV with Chromecast devices. It can convert your regular Tv to Android TV or Different OS TV into Android TV. Since the rate is cheap and we can get official updates, Google TV Chromecast got many users. New Google Chromecast with AV1 hardware playback is coming in May 2022. It is a successor version of the existing Chromecast. The main feature of the upcoming Google TV Chromecast device is AV1 hardware playback which can scale low-quality videos and upscale them to high-quality videos. Since most of us currently use streaming platforms, It can save us tons of data.

According to material seen by the website, Google is working on an Android-powered gadget dubbed Boreal. The codename Boreal was discovered in the same family as Sabrina, which relates to Google TV’s current Chromecast. According to the article, boreal is directly tied to the same Google TV Chromecast software for Android that drives the Chromecast with Google TV.
