    • We are working on it. We will update soon. You can use Magisk Patched firmware method to root your mobile. TWRP method purely depends on the developers.

    • Since It is a Magisk Patched Firmware Flash method, Your Data will be Lost. So, It is better to Backup your Completely.

    • Samsung Pie 9.0 version has extra security measures. So, To root this version, we need to perform some additional steps. We always short out the steps to make it easy. But It should not affect the overall process. So, we should balance them both.

      • Even after following all the steps, after flashing patched boot and rebooting a device – It boots up, I choose the language, agree to terms, etc… It reboots after several seconds and loops with a message about only official binaries to be supported. Is there a fix for that? Do I need to flash anything besides patched boot?

          • I managed to fix this, so here is what I did for people who might have the same problems:

My issue as I described was that after flashing patched boot, the system was stopping to work. The root of the matter was the after flashing stock four file system with Odin and booting the system; it was getting a 160 MB update! My boot image was from 4 file system image I was flashing before the update. So boot image was not matching systems after the update.

What I did, I found the latest version, patched id, flashed it – voila!

  1. Hi! In the part where you have to boot into the rooted os, can you go into more detail? Only because I can’t understand what you mean by release keys when bootloader warning comes up.

    • After the flash, you should release keys Immediately to boot into your mobile. Unlike Oreo version, Pie versions have Different Partitions, so, If you want to boot into Root environments, you should press the respective keys.

  2. hey there, i stuck in some steps in this tutorial, so i used some tutorial in YT and downloaded the ‘boot.tar’ from google drive from a YT tutorial on how to root my A30. i finished the steps and when i download ‘magisk’ and enter it, the phone become black!

    help!!?

    • That’s why we didn’t provide ready boot image file. Your patched boot image should be the same as your phone firmware. Don’t download the patched boot image from other sources. You should create one by yourself. Not a problem. Flash the official firmware using ODIN and restart the process.

    • Boot into Stock recovery, Wipe Cache Data. You can retrieve your APP data after you Sign in with your Google account.

  3. Everything went smooth until press start in Odin. It only close/crash without any error message. Tried several versions of Odin, can’t go after this. Any help?

    • It will work. But you can’t update your mobile officially after the root. Some Samsung In-Built Apps that require proper authentication may not work.

    • Also, you need custom Recovery to install Custom ROMs. This process allows the only Root. Until you are a regular root user, this method may not help you.

  4. Sir, do I need to download the firmware worth 3.3gb? And after that, I’m going to load that firmware to magisk to become magisk patch? And that magisk patch I will add that file to ODIN> AP and start and wait until I receive success, and after that, I will going to wipe out/ factory reset my devices and reboot, sir can I add you in Facebook, so I can talk to you if I have a question?.

    • Yes, you are correct. Unfortunately, We can’t root using TWRP like Old days until we get a stable version. You can ask any query here. It will help other friends also.
