It will boot you to Non-Rooted environment. If you accidentally urged and boot frequently, Don’t panic, after setup everything, switch off your device and boot into Rooted OS using above mentioned keys. If you root your device, because of the battery drain issues, you can optimize your battery without root.

We are working on it. We will update soon. You can use Magisk Patched firmware method to root your mobile. TWRP method purely depends on the developers.

Samsung Pie 9.0 version has extra security measures. So, To root this version, we need to perform some additional steps. We always short out the steps to make it easy. But It should not affect the overall process. So, we should balance them both.

Even after following all the steps, after flashing patched boot and rebooting a device – It boots up, I choose the language, agree to terms, etc… It reboots after several seconds and loops with a message about only official binaries to be supported. Is there a fix for that? Do I need to flash anything besides patched boot?

I managed to fix this, so here is what I did for people who might have the same problems:

My issue as I described was that after flashing patched boot, the system was stopping to work. The root of the matter was the after flashing stock four file system with Odin and booting the system; it was getting a 160 MB update! My boot image was from 4 file system image I was flashing before the update. So boot image was not matching systems after the update.

What I did, I found the latest version, patched id, flashed it – voila!

Hi! In the part where you have to boot into the rooted os, can you go into more detail? Only because I can’t understand what you mean by release keys when bootloader warning comes up.

After the flash, you should release keys Immediately to boot into your mobile. Unlike Oreo version, Pie versions have Different Partitions, so, If you want to boot into Root environments, you should press the respective keys.

That’s why we didn’t provide ready boot image file. Your patched boot image should be the same as your phone firmware. Don’t download the patched boot image from other sources. You should create one by yourself. Not a problem. Flash the official firmware using ODIN and restart the process.

It will work. But you can’t update your mobile officially after the root. Some Samsung In-Built Apps that require proper authentication may not work.

Also, you need custom Recovery to install Custom ROMs. This process allows the only Root. Until you are a regular root user, this method may not help you.
