What More?

In my opinion, you don’t need rooting for your Samsung Galaxy M10s. If you thought you could Improve Performance By root; With the Exynos 7884B Octa-Core processor and 3 GB RAM, your device can perform well. If you don’t know how much RAM you need, You will never use this much RAM. You should not Boot into Normal OS Booting, by pressing the power button, after firmware flash. It will boot you to a Non-Rooted environment. If you accidentally urged and boot frequently, Don’t panic, after setup everything, switch off your device and boot into Rooted OS using above mentioned keys. If you root your device, because of the battery drain issues, you can optimize your battery without root. Beyond this, if your purpose is to Disable Bloatware apps, you can do that without using this method. When you have any suggestions or doubts, comment below.

  1. I tried all the above steps, and after the last step, I set up my device as new, then my storage decreases to 16gb. Magisk app wasn’t installed I install it again, then it shows the message to install magisk manager and ask me to flash the file back, and when I boot to Odin mode, it shows custom os plz help me what to do after this.

  2. I am going to try this rooting method before updating into android 10 ..
I hope if anything goes wrong…someone will be able to help me out..
    Thank you.!

      • I got five files after I extracted from the firmware zip.

I patched the AP.tar with magisk on my phone. Then I opened Odin since there are five files.
I place the BL file on the BL category.
I placed Magisk_patched.tar on the AP category and so on.
now I am confused to put the file on CSC category because there r 2 files named as
        CSC_OMC and HOME_CSC….
so I decided to put HOME_CSC on CSC category

I clicked on START, but after flashing and showing PASS in Odin my phone restarted on its own

Now I am stuck in downloading mode.
even if I restart my phone, it again goes back to downloading mode
on left above screen it says
        VBMETA: error verifying vbmeta image
        VBMETA: VERIFICATION disabled bit is
        VBMETA: no sign info
        please help me …..:'((

        • CSC files are carrier-specific files. For International variants, You don’t need to flash CSC. You can go with the other three data.

  3. When I flash the files, then it directly goes into downloading mode, and thus, I can enter into recovery.
But when I only flash AP, then only the recovery mode comes.

Well.. after trying soo many times with your method, I am very sorry to say that I think some parts of the purposes mentioned above aren’t working as it’s supposed to be.
Please correct it ASAP, or else some other also like me also might face this kind of issue like me.

    • Hi, Your current firmware of the mobile should match with the patched firmware. When you flash different region firmware, It won’t work. We already mentioned this small thing in the guide, after the successful ODIN Flash. You have to exit download mode and immediately boot to the recovery and wipe user data steps. If you boot into OS, You will face some issues.

  4. 1. I m from India
    2.the code is INS
3., of course, I would flash the INS firmware, I woud never touch other countries or different regions which I know very very well.
4.i even checked my build number or firmware version 10 times before extracting the firmware zip file and putting to magisk manager

I think you are not exactly getting my point what I am trying to say here is…
    (please read carefully)
I exited download mode after the magisk patched.tar and tried to get into recovery.
This is where the issue comes; it doesn’t go to recovery… it again goes to downloading mode and on the left side above its written

    VBMETA: error verifying vbmeta image
    VBMETA: VERIFICATION disabled bit is
    VBMETA: no sign info

I tried again, but this time I selected only MAGISK_PATCHED.tar in AP.
This time the recovery mode came (because I only flashed MAGISK_PATCHED on AP category, I dint flash those other non patched four files)
I did factory reset or wipe reset data and reset caches. But it still says magisk manager not installed.
I apologize for replying to too much long and details.. but you were not getting my point what I was precisely trying to say above in those two posts…

please read carefully again and tell me what issue I have got even tho i
read and tried thoroughly every step.

    • Thank you for explaining the whole situation to us.
In the second method, You flashed AP alone, and you can boot into OS.
After the first boot, install the Magisk Manager APK file and select install. After the installation, boot into the rooted environment as per the key combinations. When you use different combinations, it will boot your mobile into a non-rooted OS.

  5. How do I boot into rooted environment as per the key combinations… ??
The only one I know is downloading mode and recovery …please explain in details
