Samsung will unveil an Augmented Reality device that uses hologram technology. A hologram is a technology that creates a lifelike image that appears as though an object is genuine but isn’t. With Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, Samsung Electronics has been planning to commercial hologram technology for a long time. Samsung is working closely with DigiLens, an American startup specializing in Augmented Reality (AR) and extended reality (XR) technology. Techies reveal Samsung Electronics has already completed the creation of a prototype.

AR vs. AR Hologram

A hologram is a technology that creates a lifelike image that appears as if an object is physically present yet is not. With Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, Samsung Electronics has been planning to commercial hologram technology for a long time. Samsung will employ Exynos as an AP for its Augmented Reality gadget, with Google Android as the operating system. They are working closely with DigiLens, an American startup specializing in Augmented Reality (AR) and extended reality (XR) technology.

Samsung Electronics is said to have finished the development of a prototype. Samsung is also focusing on Augmented Reality and virtual reality technology. The company is working on an Augmented Reality device that will incorporate holographic technology.

Samsung and Microsoft Collaboration

Samsung is also collaborating with Microsoft on Augmented reality to have two AR tracks: one for its own devices and another for the devices it creates in collaboration with Microsoft. As per the sources, Samsung will power the AR Glass with its own Exynos processor, but it will operate on Google’s Android operating system, which makes sense considering that Samsung and Google appear to be on excellent terms these days.

One thing is sure: with so many people betting on headsets, 2022 will quickly become a lot more fascinating for regular tech users. As per reports, the device’s prototype has already been created, and Samsung is now deciding when to release it. This rumor isn’t entirely surprising, given how closely Samsung has followed in Apple’s footsteps, even though the two businesses are arch-rivals.
