No, that doesn’t work either. The Unofficial Recovery does not work. We have to wait for official TWRP. No other way.

Same as @Mazahir Arsiwala. After flashing recovery with “fastboot boot recovery.img”, MIUI-OS boots, like with a normal reboot. Also your suggestion
“Try “fastboot reboot” and Press Volume Up+ Power Button.” did not work for me. It just vibrates, then it reboots. Also tried to reboot into recovery after flashing directly. Same result. Can not boot to twrp-recovery.
Am I doing something wrong? (I checked to unlock state with fastboot. Everything is unlocked)

    Regards, S.

After the latest patch, boot settings changed, use this command. “fastboot flash recovery recovery.img.” After the successful flash Don’t use fastboot reboot. Press Volume Down+ Power to exit Fastboot Mode and Immediately Press Volume Up+Power. You should not let your mobile to boot into OS Until we flash Magisk and Encryption file. It will work.

Hi. I need some help. After I make fastboot boot recovery.img, the phone boots normally to the OS. I tried powering off the phone and boot to the recovery using the volume up + power button, but it booted to the stock recovery. I also tried flashing the recovery and then exiting fastboot with the power button and then booting to the recovery using the volume up + power button. Still, it just booted normally to the OS. I really want to root my phone; please help me. Thanks!

Place the recovery.img file in the ADB folder and try again. After you boot into TWRP recovery, you should flash Magisk.
