What More?

In my opinion, you don’t need to root for your Realme 6 Android 10 version. If you thought you could Improve Performance By Root; With the Mediatek MT6785 Helio G90T Octa-Core processor and 4-8 GB RAM, your device can perform well. If you don’t know how much RAM you need, You will never use this much RAM. It would help if you did not Boot into Normal OS Booting by pressing the power button after firmware flash. It will boot you to a Non-Rooted environment. So, you should pay attention to the first recovery boot step.

If you root your device because of the battery drain issues, you can optimize your battery without root. Beyond this, if your purpose is to Disable Bloatware apps, you can do that without using this method. This method is not based on TWRP custom recovery. Thus you can’t install Custom ROMs. When you have any suggestions or doubts, comment below.

  1. Hi guys,
    I never rooted a phone.
However, this realme 6 doesn’t come to HDCP enabled, and I need this to cast Netflix to an LG Smart TV.
Is there any way to enable it (by installing a patch or something) without being root?

    • If you root, it may trigger the Widevine L1 certificate, which is required for Netflix. So, You can try the Webcast app, which can do the job.

  2. Is it correct that when flashing in fastboot mode, only the boot.img is a patched one from Magisk Manager, while the vbmeta.img is the unmodified one from the original stock firmware ozip?
So disabling AVB/dm-verity happens through the parameters –disable-verity or –disable-verification alone?

I’m asking because I have seen tutorials that stated you need a special vbmeta.img (an “empty” vbmeta.img of some sort).

  3. Could you make a vídeo with these steps? I have had language problems trying to follow this tutorial

    • We will try. But you can use Google Translate. Since it is a tech guide you can easily understand the steps.
