    Hello,
I have a Samsung j5 prime that I did a hard reset on my own. Now the device is stuck on the welcome screen, and I can’t remember the email that I used previously.
I would like to know that if I try the process mentioned above, can it make the device back to a working state?
    Thanks in advance.

Yes. But, you will lose all your mobile data, that is not synced with the Google Account. If you enabled the Sync, the contacts and other app settings could be retrieved. But, You may lose photos and videos.
