WhatsApp Message Reactions Available

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that message reaction on WhatsApp will begin rolling out on today’s first day. This marks the completion of the beta testing phase, and the new feature was first released to the public back in March.

Reactions are limited to six emojis at the moment; however, they cover everything you need to know. Instagram, however, is more flexible in this respect and lets you pick from the vast majority of more than 3,500 emoji Unicode currently offers. This variant of message reactions includes six emojis: Love, Laugh, Suprised, Sad, Love, Laugh, Surprised Sad, and Thanks. Zuckerberg also mentions the addition of hand-painted prayer symbols “to help spread thanks and appreciation” and teases additional to come.

How to use Reactions in WhatsApp Messages?

Reactions are available to groups and chats, and when you press and hold an image bubble, you can respond to a message by selecting one of the emojis. It is possible to see who has reacted to an outgoing or incoming message by clicking the icon for the reaction: the reaction info section shows all the people who have the emoji that they used to respond in response to the messages.

When someone responds to your posts, you will receive an email notification. This is enabled by default. However, you can disable notifications for responses through the notification settings in WhatsApp.

Availability

The feature has finally rolled out to more users. However, note that the part could take up to seven days. Suppose you do not have a beta version, but you are worried. In that case, you don’t need to download it as it is compatible with stable versions: for this reason, make sure to download an up-to-date version of WhatsApp by accessing App Store, TestFlight, or Play Store to increase your chances of receiving the feature now.
