What More?

In my opinion, you don’t need to root your Xiaomi Redmi Note 7/Pro Android 10 version. If you thought you could Improve Performance By Root; With the Qualcomm SDM675 Snapdragon 675/Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 Octa-Core processor and 3-6 GB RAM, your device can perform well. If you don’t know how much RAM you need, You will never use this much RAM. It would help if you did not Boot into Normal OS Booting by pressing the power button after firmware flash. It will boot you to a Non-Rooted environment. So, you should pay attention to the first recovery boot step.

If you root your device because of the battery drain issues, you can optimize your battery without root. Beyond this, if your purpose is to Disable Bloatware apps, you can do that without using it. This method is based on TWRP custom recovery. Thus you can install Custom ROMs. When you have any suggestions or doubts, comment below.

  1. Hi,
I use a redmi note 7 (3Gb RAM variant), and during multitasking, the apps automatically reloaded when switching back. I found an option to lock the apps from reloading but now, if I use more than 2 apps, it crashes (android system web view crashes). Also, switching between chrome tabs results in them reloading.
When no apps are running, the available RAM is between 500-700MB. I have removed some bloatware apps. What can I do to improve performance? Are there any specific apps that use too much RAM that I can remove?

    • It can happen with 3GB RAM variants. We can’t optimize much with limited hardware. Stock Android custom ROMs may work better.
